MV Queen Scuba provides 4 days / 4 night scuba diving safaris to Thailand’s Similan and Surin National Marine Parks from November until April. All cabins onboard MV Queen Scuba has air conditioning and ensuited bathroom. She is also able to provide unlimited Nitrox for scuba diving.

We are dedicated to providing great customer service and provide one Professional Padi Scuba Diving Instructor per every four guests, meaning you can enjoy your dives in small groups with close attention from our multilingual dive professionals.

Our large vessel has plenty of space for relaxing in between dives in the air-conditioned saloon, the outdoor dining area, as well as the large sundeck. The large dive platform ensures no one feels crowded when preparing for the next dive. Our onboard chef serves excellent Thai, Indonesia and western cuisine throughout the diving and snorkeling cruise. MV Queen Scuba is one of the safest vessels fitted with two life rafts, firefighting equipment, GPS, radio and EPIRB.

The Diving

All divers will be divided into groups of four divers, and each group will have their own dive guide. Groups will be divided mainly depending on diving experience and air consumption. We are happy to accomodate couples and friends who want to dive together.

The Dive Crews

The highly experienced Dive Staff on board are all professional multilingual PADI Dive Instructors. They have worked several seasons in the Similan and Surin National Marine Parks as well as years of experience diving around the World. When diving with our professional dive staff they will show you all the amazing wonders the sea has to offer. Your guides will also work to find the specific species you are interested in.
In some cases, if you are an experienced diver and just want to have a dive site briefing, then you and your dive Buddy can go on your own. However, you must please follow some diving rules and instructions given by our Dive Staff to ensure your safety.

The Boat Crews

The boat crew is experienced friendly and very helpful, they are a perfect example of why Thailand is called the land of Smiles. Our boys will help with everything from getting you into your wet suite, helping get your gear on, fins on and safety checks. On every dive, they will be there to help get you in and out of the water safely.

Food & Drinks

Our Chef is very experienced and well known for her cooking in the Phuket area. She will create delicious cuisine from Traditional Thai food to mouthwatering western courses. Fresh seasonal fruits and snacks are served throughout the day.

On the first night, we will serve a welcome dinner before leaving for the Similan Islands. In the mornings before diving there will be croissants, cake, toast, fruit, coffee, and tea. After the first dive, a full American Style Breakfast will be served with eggs, bacon, beans, potatoes, sausage and more. Lunch and Dinner will be either delicious Thai dishes or western dishes all meals served Buffet-style in the sitting area of the main deck.

We can cater to all dietary requirements, please send us your requirements in advance! Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water, sweets, fruits, yogurt, biscuits, juices, and soft drinks served free of charge. Beer and Wine are available after your last dive of the day.

The Cabins

The Master Cabin & VIP Cabins are all located on the main deck, the Standard Cabins are located on the
lower deck each with bunk bed style accommodations offering en-suite bathroom, hard wood floors and ample lighting. The Master Cabin offers an incredibly spacious room with a king size bed, entertainment system, refrigerator, en-suite bathroom, hard wood floors and beautiful views.

The VIP cabins offer a spacious room with double beds, en-suite bathroom, hard wood floors, and large windows to enjoy the views.

There are 5 different categories of cabins with a total of 9 cabins, all with en-suite bathroom with hot water shower and centrally controlled air-conditioning.

• 1 Master Cabin (1 King size bed) with 8 panoramic windows, fridge, mini bar & TV/DVD system.
• 5 VIP Cabins (3 Double bed & 2 twin share cabins) all with large windows.
• 1 Standard Twin Cabin (2 Single bunk beds / twin share) this cabin has a small porthole window.
• 1 Standard Triple Cabin (3 Single bunk beds / triple share) this cabin has a small porthole window
• 1 Standard Quad Cabin (4 Single bunk beds / quad share) this cabin has a small porthole window

All cabins also have:
• Wardrobes to store your clothes during the trip
• 70 X 200 cm beds incl. bedding (for single beds)
• Twin-prong socket at 220 volts main outlet 24 hours per day


The Boat


MV Queen Scuba Liveaboard is a large boat with plenty of space to relax between the dives, whether
you would like to suntan, read a book, or watch some of the latest premiere movies in the saloon we have what your looking for. The saloon on board MV Queen Scuba is very comfortable with large panoramic windows and TV/DVD/music entertainment center, a full selection of marine life books & diving magazines. There main deck outside of the Saloon with a shaded seating area (dining area) is where you can enjoy watching some scenic views across the islands.

In front of the Captain’s cabin, there is a large bench perfect to sit and watch things pass by. On the top deck, there is plenty of space for the sunbathers on the large 60 square meter half-shaded sun deck. The sun deck is very popular among our guests as you can read your favorite novel or take a nap during your surface interval on our nice clean and comfortable leathered sofas. This is also the best place to spot the friendly dolphins cruising along with our boat. In the evening, you can relax and chat about the days diving while enjoying an amazing night sky. Taking in some of the best star gazing in the world, many guests choose to sleep under the stars and wake up to a beautiful sunrise.

MV Queen Scuba offers our guests one of the largest dive platforms in the South East Asia; this is the pride and joy of our boat. It consists of a very wide and spacious kitting-up area on two levels, a separate entry/exit platform, 2 exit ladders with 2 fresh water showers to rinse yourself or your equipment after your dives. You will also find 2 large bins with fresh water for rinsing cameras, dive computers and torches.
